Welcome to Nesakarangal Minority Educational & Charitable Trust

Nesakarangal Minority Educational and Charitable Trust (NMECT) is a registered charity serving the poor since 2004 in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, South India. Nesakarangal Charity bloomed as a vision of a broken hearted woman who underwent all the sufferings of an abandoned woman, who had the courage to stand up in the society for the upliftment of the abandoned women and children in rural India.

The trust has a committee of board members who works for the welfare of the trust and its various charitable projects. The charity runs an orphanage for abandoned girls and boys which has 60 inmates presently. Nesakarangal also runs a home for the abandoned old aged people.
